Ripple Retreat: Bringing a Vision in Progress to Life

Ripple Retreat is a veteran-owned, mission-driven retreat center offering an alcohol-free space for healing, connection, and creativity. With parts of the site already built and more in progress, the center plans to open to the public in April 2027. Our project included recreating the website to reflect the heart of this project—even before the doors officially open.

The Challenge


JJ Holley, founder of Ripple Retreat, needed a site that could capture his evolving vision—showing what’s been accomplished, what’s coming, and how others can get involved. As a 2025 Maine SCORE Award winner for Best Veteran-Owned Business, he wanted a polished, credible, and compelling digital home that invited future collaborators, event hosts, and supporters.

Migrated to a premium host with daily backups, a staging environment, and better speed—at a lower long-term cost.

Marketing System Setup
Created a content calendar, newsletter automation, and a lead magnet concept (“Become a Ripple Maker”) tied to a 10% early booking incentive.

VA + Tools for Independence
Connected JJ with a VA and trained him to manage his website, podcast uploads, and content updates without tech overwhelm.


The Outcome

The site now serves as a compelling storytelling tool—inviting early inquiries, supporting JJ’s SCORE award recognition, and aligning the Ripple Retreat mission with a strong digital presence. While bookings aren’t yet open, visitors can express interest, get on the waitlist, or explore the growing project.
